Items to Bring for Scuplture Painting

We've created a simple and easy list of materials that will be most beneficial to the sculpture project. Keep in mind this project will be outside, and all materials should be weather resistant.

Mansfield Reassembled Public Sculpture Project

Come out to this free event where artist Drew Rauschenberger will ask for assistance to create a found object assemblage to be installed in North Lake Community Garden.  Through the generous contributions of the Fran and Warren Rupp Foundation and a partnership with the North End Community Improvement Collaborative, this project will address how we view ourselves in the community and the use of reclaimed items to beautify our neighborhoods. The first 200 participants will receive a “Mansfield Reassembled” T-Shirt to tie dye and snacks and face-paintings will available as well. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in a public art piece and teach your kids about the significance of civic engagement.  While participation is free, registration is appreciated.  Call us at the Art Center to register your crew and let us know what time you’ll be stopping by. Feel free to bring an item you’d like to contribute to the project. A complete list of acceptable items is available here. See you there!
